So I am not as good as I had hoped at updating... But here is something.. Ricky has been sweetly reminding me since he got home that he wanted me to make this chocolate lasagna thing he saw on facebook. I honestly had already had it pinned on pinterest but hadn't gotten around to trying it out. So I figured that Father's Day would be a good day to try it. The recipe, found here
http://centercutcook.com/chocolate-lasagna/ was pretty easy to follow. One thing... I do not like Cool Whip! And she specifically says to use cool whip... Well, I didn't... :D I made up the fresh whipped cream, sweetened of course and mixed it in with the cream cheese mixture, poured the pudding on top and then stopped.
I was making this the night before. If I would have been serving it shortly after making it, I would have kept going... But instead, I stored the remainder of the whipped cream in the fridge and finished it the next afternoon.
It was yummy... !!!
My layer of the cream cheese-whipped cream mixture was really thick... But it still tasted yummy...
